As a music therapist for 23 years, Lisa Jackert, BC-MT has been using many forms of music as therapy as the base of her creative arts therapy work. Depending on the clinical goals, she designs the music interventions based on the client's interests and readiness. Jackert uses active forms of music therapy that include clinical improvisation, drumming vocal psychotherapy, song-writing, music and movement, and/or music with various art forms (e.g., collage, drawing, painting). She also use reception forms of music, such as the Bonny Method of Guided Imagery and Music and music for relaxation/meditation. She often combines these with mixed art forms as well.

Populations served: mental health, substance abuse, peri-natal mood/anxiety disorder, infertility, eating disorders, pain management, and mind-body connection.
