HOPE Series Session
Want to experience a new tool for creative expression that promotes emotional self-awareness? In this one-hour workshop, learn how to develop your own introspective art journaling practice for centering and resilience. Through examples of various journal exercises—involving a combination of diverse art materiales with simple color and movement practices—you’ll explore quick and easy strategies for building a positive emotional climate in difficult situations.
This workshop will be followed by a ten-minute Q&A.

This is an online program through Zoom. A welcome email, which includes the link to join the program, will be sent to you three days before the program date. If you register after the three-day mark, we will send out an additional email with the link 24-hours before the program start time. If you register after the 24-hour mark, the program link will be updated here.
- Sketch book (or whatever you would like to use as an art journal; alternative option: white paper and a binder).
- Colored pencils
- Old magazines and/or collage material
- Glue stick
- Any other materials you would like to use!
The program will begin promptly at noon PT, and we will open the waiting room ten minutes prior to starting. We encourage you to join at 11:50 am PT, so that you have time to potentially troubleshoot any connectivity issues before the beginning of the program.
